FL Laws and Rules as Applied to Case Studies of Disciplinary Actions by the Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers

The following are the general objectives of the course:

● To know in general the contents of Chapter 472 of the Statutes of Florida and Chapter 5J-17 of the Florida Administrative Code.
● Discuss the responsibilities of the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers in regard to disciplinary actions.
● Discuss the guidelines used by the probable cause panels about the surveyor not meeting the requirements of the Standards of Practice (MTS) when doing a survey.
● Read and discuss some of the disciplinary action cases found in the public records as shown on the publication of the Florida Board of Professional Surveyor and Mapper.
