Upon completion of the course participants will have been exposed to a basic understanding of what constitutes a safe and healthy workplace/environment for workers in the Surveying and Mapping profession.
Partipants will be able to identify hazardous conditions through applications of safety techniques, provide training and education to others, thus encourging continual improvement in workplace safety and health by developing a program of workplace safety and action plan.
Understand OSHA’s requirements imposed by the “Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970”
Been exposed to:
a) OSHA’s “Small Business Handbook” (OSHA 2209-02R 2005)
b) OSHA’s Standards 8713
c) 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1910 and 1926 OSHA
